Erik Cox183 days agoI chatted with Kevin to coordinate a trip on Reckless just a few days before our trip in April. Fortunately, we found a date that worked and went out on an all day offshore trip. Capt. Daniel and Luis knew their stuff and put us on 3 sailfish - all caught and released. Even our 4 and 6 year old got in on the action!+1Posted on Google

mckenzie balero255 days agoMy husband and I went fishing on our honeymoon with Reckless and it by far a dream experience! We caught 13 sailfish, had lunch, the best pineapple ever and such a great experience. If are thinking about fishing in Costa Rica I would highly recommend them.Posted on Google

Steve Cheshier276 days agoSpent 3 days with Reckless Sportfishing with the wife and kids. All I can say is amazing, caught so many sailfish even a double sail hookup. We told them we wanted a marlin and they put us on a 400lbs blue, plus mahi. Daniel and Luis are great with kids, they’ve got great equipment, the boat is top notch! John Arena293 days agoOur party of four joined Captain Daniel and Luis for a full day of fishing. It was my first trip to Costa Rica. I was referred to Reckless by a friend who fishes Costa Rica every year, We had a spectrum of experience in our group. Two of our party had never sport fished before; one had mostly bottom fished, and I have fished all over the Western hemisphere from Brazil to Alaska and even have my own fishing boat that I run out of Florida. Captain Daniel and Luis were excellent with all of us. In fact, I would say they are the best captain and mate duo I with whom I have ever fished. We caught six big sailfish on a beautiful Costa Rican day. Luis took time to show me a new way of rigging ballyhoo. Captain Daniel is an excellent boat driver, particularly when hooked up. Lunch and snacks were good, but they are very traditional so if you have strong food preferences bring your own. This is not a negative, just adding for transparency. Plenty of drinks and a great variety of drinks. The Reckless is comfortable and clean, including the head (bathroom). The Reckless crew are fantastic, and I would absolutely fish with them again.Posted on Google
Zach Marston294 days agoWe had an absolutely fantastic experience with Reckless Sport Fishing in Quepos, Costa Rica. We traveled to Costa Rica specifically for sport fishing and have done fishing charters all over the world, Kevin was great at communicating what to expect and Daniel and Luis are hands down the most professional, knowledgeable, and attentive crew we’ve ever fished with. From the moment we left the dock, everything was first-class. They put us right on the fish (8 sailfish and 2 mahi-mahi) and just as importantly, they took the time to explain what was happening, why we were fishing certain areas, and how conditions affected the bite. It was both an exciting and educational day on the water. Their professionalism really stood out in how they handled the fish. The sailfish we released were treated with exceptional care, and the mahi we kept were cleaned perfectly. It’s clear they care deeply about conservation and doing things the right way. We even got to tag and name the 90” sail we caught (biggest of the day). If you’re looking for a top-tier sport fishing charter in Quepos, Costa Rica, I can’t recommend Reckless Sport Fishing enough. This was an unforgettable experience, and we will absolutely be lifelong customers. If you’re serious about fishing in Costa Rica, this is the crew you want.+4Posted on Google
Katie Young317 days agoWe had an amazing time and amazing catch aboard the Reckless. Captain Daniel did all he could to find tuna and spinner dolphins! There could be no better crew than Luis, who expertly managed all of the lines and assisted in landing the two largest mahi we had ever seen. Meredith Moore320 days agoWe had a fantastic day with Daniel and Luis on Reckless!!! We caught so many sail fish and had an incredible finale experience catching a blue Marlin to close out the day. They served us a lovely lunch and kept a clean fishing boat. Their ability to find the fish, pivot as needed, and commit to seeking out the marlin was amazing. We had so much fun and highly recommend heading out with such a great team! Thank you!+3
